Here’s a brand new 2020 Fantasy Football Mock Draft, featuring 12 teams drafting and a PPR scoring system with two running backs, two wide receivers and a flex. See how this 2020 Fantasy Football Mock Draft unfolded from the 12th spot, where I drafted for the first time this summer. Meanwhile, WalterFootball podcast co-host Jacob Camenker tried to utilize a specific fantasy football draft strategy from the fifth choice in this mock. See how Jacob’s plan developed and even changed as the fantasy football draft progressed.
As usual, I aimed to have two running backs in the first three picks of a 2020 Fantasy Football Mock Draft, given how scarce the position happens to be this year. With one of my first choices, I went with Le’Veon Bell, who figures to rebound after a disappointing 2019 season. Bell has been working hard this offseason in an attempt to improve himself. The Jets also worked hard to improve their offensive line, which is another reason to be more bullish on Bell this year. One of my other choices was Austin Ekeler, who is a much better option in PPR than in standard formats. I would not have chosen Ekeler with the first pick in the second round of a normal format, but PPR is a different animal with Ekeler, who specializes as a receiver out of the backfield. He’ll be heavily utilized by an inexperienced Justin Herbert, who will undoubtedly start sooner rater than later. For more on the Chargers, we will have some great Chargers content coming soon.
