Baltimore ravens running back JK Dobbins injured his knee Resulting in an ACL tear that in turn will keep him out for the entire year. Well this is a heavy blow to the Baltimore ravens hopes of contending for an AFC title and challenging the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills, from a fantasy perspective this means big things for Lamar Jackson as I expect more carries and possibly more passing yards.I also feel like this is going to improve the fantasy value of Baltimore ravens running back Gus Edwards has he is now the lone back in that back field with any true value. It is also worth noting that the ravens don’t really have a clear receiving through it with the exception of tired and Mark Andrews so I would look for him to get more targets especially around the red zone as he was possibly going to split that load with Dobbins he now will split that load some with Gus Edwards however I believe the ravens will lean heavily on zone read run and dump offs to the tight end around the goal line. It is unclear at this time how soon Dobbins will be ready next year but given the fact that the injury occurred towards the tail end of the preseason for this year I anticipate that he will be ready for next year when it comes time for training camp.
