Ravens Colts Preview with Injury Report. Who’s playing and who’s not?
There were concerns surrounding the Baltimore Ravens after Marlon Humphrey tested positive for Covid-19. There were seven players on the Ravens defense that were placed on the Covid reserve list as they were considered high risk. The list included key defensive players Matt Judon, Patrick Queen, DeShon Elliott, LJ Fort, Malik Harrison, Tyus Bowser, and Terrell Bonds. Luckily, most of them are expected to play tomorrow against the Indianapolis Colts. LJ Fort is the only player on that list that will miss the game due to a finger injury.
The Ravens are happy to get most of their defense back as tomorrow’s game is huge for playoff seeding. Both teams are sitting at a 5-2 record and are still hoping to win their divisions. The Ravens are coming off a heart breaking loss against division rivals Pittsburgh Steelers 28-24. Meanwhile, the Colts are coming off a shellacking of the Detroit Lions 41-21. Both of these teams boast top 5 scoring defenses as the Ravens have allowed an average of 18.9 PPG, whereas the Colts allow 19.4. Those that love high flying offensive shootouts will probably want to steer clear of this game. However, if you’re excited to watch two great defenses grind it out, this is the game for you.
Taking a look at the game statuses, it looks like the Ravens will be without LJ Fort and Mark Ingram, both veterans for the team. As for the Colts, they will be down two receivers as Ashton Dulin and TY Hilton aren’t expected to play.
