The Tennessee Titans beat Covid this week and will take on the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday. However, beating the Buffalo Bills may be another story. The Bills come in red hot with an offense averaging over 30 points per game. No one knows who will play for the Titans, but this game seems to be a major challenge.
Both Buffalo and Tennessee come in undefeated for the first time since 2008. The Bills have won the last three matchups by a total of 9 points. Josh Allen is 2-0 against the Titans in his young career. This will be Ryan Tannehill’s first time playing the Bills as a member of the Titans. With the Miami Dolphins, Tannehill won 4 and came up short 7 times.
Tennessee may be down with Covid, but not out. The Titans still have Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill proving they still have a chance. Expect Henry to get up to 30 touches, and for Tennessee to chew the clock on offense. Josh Allen comes into this game with 12 touchdowns and only one interception. Keeping him off the field will help increase the chances for the Titans. Buffalo may try to attack Tennessee’s 32nd ranked defense in the rush per attempt category. The Titans are giving up 5.8 yards per rush which are last in the league. A combination of running the ball and stopping the run will be the key for a Titans victory.
DaQuan Jones, Isaiah Wilson, and Beau Brinkley are the first two players to return from the Covid List. With Jeffery Simmons out, Tennessee desperately needed Jones back for the defensive line. The team hopes to have a few more players come off the list on game day. Unfortunately, the Titans will still be without two of their top wide-receivers in Corey Davis and Adam Humphries.
