It’s no secret that the Chicago Bears could use more production from their quarterback position.
Even after QB Mitch Trubisky played well over the Bears final stretch of games, he ultimately flamed out when it came down to beating the elite teams such as the Packers and Saints. In an extremely up and down season, Trubisky has been inconsistent as has always been the case. He went from winning the starting job in training camp to getting benched for Nick Foles and then starting once again and even leading the Bears to the playoffs. However, his end of season numbers don’t look anything worth keeping around and with Trubisky’s contract, the Bears will most likely let Mitch walk and the two parties look for a fresh start.
Bears GM Ryan Pace was also brought back and is now tasked with brining a better QB option to the Bears in the offseason. There aren’t any big names available in free agency outside of Dak Prescott and even the draft isn’t much of an option with the Bears having the No. 20 pick. However, the trade market has been plenty of options with Deshaun Watson now reportedly looking to get out of Houston, you also have names such as Matt Stafford, Matt Ryan, Derek Carr and etc. So who should the Bears go after? I discuss in the video above.
